Wild Reach exists to serve vulnerable children, families, and communities in the Amazon region of Brazil. We believe that lasting transformation happens when people are cared for holistically — spiritually, emotionally, and physically — and when local leaders are empowered to carry the mission forward. Our work combines faith, education, protection, and leadership development to create sustainable impact in some of the most underserved communities.

Meet Our Founders
Jewell and Abner are the founders of Wild Reach, a ministry born from two journeys that converged in the Amazon with one shared calling. Jewell first traveled to the Amazon at 19, where witnessing the vulnerability and suffering of children left a mark she could not ignore. Instead of turning away, she spent years preparing herself to return — and in 2020 she moved to Brazil to live among river communities, learning the culture and standing beside children who lacked safety, protection, and hope. Abner was born and raised in the Amazon and sensed a call to missions at a young age, serving alongside his father in church planting and later ministering across Brazil and around the world. In 2014 he left a promising corporate career to serve full-time in missions, driven by a deep burden for unreached communities and vulnerable families. When Jewell and Abner married in 2021, God united their callings — her passion to confront child abuse and injustice and his passion to reach the lost with the Gospel — forming the foundation of Wild Reach: a long-term commitment to protect children, strengthen families, and bring Christ-centered hope and transformation to communities across the Amazon.

LEADERSHIP TRAININGS & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
We equip parents, families, and emerging leaders with training in emotional intelligence, entrepreneurship, and community engagement—raising local leaders who strengthen their communities and sustain the work for the long term.
FAMILY SUPPORT & EMPOWERMENT
We strengthen families facing hardship through essential support, educational resources, and compassionate counseling—promoting stability, dignity, and long-term resilience.
SUPPORT LOCAL PARTNERS & PROJECTS
We partner with local organizations & ministries in the Amazon to provide food and other resources for the children enrolled in their programs.
CHURCH PLANTING & DISCIPLESHIP
We support the planting and development of healthy, community-rooted churches, providing mentorship, discipleship, and leadership training so new believers and local leaders can grow in faith and serve their communities with strength and integrity.
